Social-Emotional Skills Group for Kids

Group therapy can help you build social and emotional skills. The connection in group therapy can help you to feel less alone in your struggles and learn from others who are also struggling in a similar way to you. In this therapy group for Teens 12+
we will be practicing peer social skills in an organic way as we build social-emotional bandwidth and window of tolerance. We’ll learn DBT skills and calming central nervous system activities.
This is a Neurodivergent Affirming group.

In this group teens who might be experiencing anxiety explore their anxiety and ways to cope with it when it becomes too much.  This group will learn how to manage anxiety using DBT and CBT skills to cope with stress and build distress tolerance. They will also learn tools like mindfulness and somatic calming tools.
